My Name Is Khan to contend at the Oscars?

Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan may have missed out by a whisker to Peepli [LIVE] on being India's official entry to the Oscars this year but there is a possibility that the SRK-Kajol starrer may find its way to the Academy awards list of nominations.

The film has made it to the reminder list of movies eligible for this year's Academy Awards, joining box office heavyweights such as Inception, Iron Man 2 and Black Swan.

The film has managed to do phenomenal business in the overseas market and this fact could have helped getting the film prominence among the international audience. One will have to wait and watch if MNIK does make it to the final nominees list which is scheduled to be announced on Jan 25. If it does, it would certainly call for one big celebration in the KJo-SRK camp.
