Though the audience has been given a glimpse of the Dharmendra – Sunny Deol – Bobby Deol starrer Yamla Pagla Deewana, the film’s crew have decided on a new climax as opposed to the one which was previously shot because they felt that it lacked the punch which movie goers usually expect in a Bollywood comedy.
If reports are anything to go by, it was the father and his two sons who requested director Samir Karnik to shoot an alternative climax scene for their upcoming film after Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol did not like the climax of Yamla Pagla Deewana at a special pre-release screening arranged for the family in the recent past. A source associated with the upcoming Bollywood release says that while Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol enjoyed watching the first part of their movie, the second part, especially the climax did not appeal to them and the makers of Yamla Pagla Deewana too decided to abide by their advice. A new climax sequel has already been shot and this time the film’s ending will be more action-packed and comic.
This is all the more reason for the audience to catch the film in a theater close to their homes. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who tied the knot with Priyanka Alva in the recent past, went through a bizarre incident. It all happened when he appeared for a brick-laying event on the request of a rights group in Delhi. He paid a visit to the slum locale in Delhi called ‘Bavana’. Well, the reason of his appearance was that he had to put the initial brick to mark the start of a new house which will be built to accommodate slum dwellers.
People who were used to live in the slums situated at the rear end of the river Yamuna were recently asked to shift to ‘Bavana’ so that the place could be rehabilitated and made cleaner and greener to live in. So a new house will be constructed in ‘Bavana’ for those slum dwellers who are presently out of their original huts.
Vivek was so pleased to attend the occasion that he left his guards back home. He wanted to make the people feel that he is not a celebrity there but a common man. But little did he know that situation will get out of control there. Over 2000 villagers gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor and they went crazy and wild on seeing their favorite actor in such near proximity. So to control the situation, Vivek had to stay locked inside a room for almost 2 hours. Police took charge of the situation sometime later.

Sonali Bendre and Her Car Loss Trauma

Actress and television show host Sonali Bendre lost track of her car when she went to attend an event in the recent past. According to reports in the media, Sonali Bendre visited a hotel in Mumbai to attend an event when she lost sight of her car and her driver! What followed was a trauma for the actress and her aides who reportedly went on a search for the lost car, searching every nook and corner from the Marine Drive to the Churchgate area in Mumbai.
Media reports claim that Sonali Bendre first called her driver at the end of the event, but since his mobile network was unavailable, the actress herself decided to search for her car in the parking space of the hotel in Mumbai. However, the long search ended in futility. Neither the car nor the driver were to be seen anywhere, convincing the actress that her driver had stolen her car which was worth crores of rupees.
And just when Sonali Bendre returned to the hotel premises to call the police, then she sees standing on the hotel steps is her driver, completely unaware of the trauma his employer had to go through for the past couple of hours! However, when Raima watched the final graphic detailing, she was almost shocked to see that her seen was too much elaborate and Konkona’s scene was same as it was earlier. The actress was almost in tears and requested her director to tone down the sequence. She was feeling embarrassed thinking that how her mother will react watching this too intimate sequence.
The director has got his work done by making his film more sizzling with the re-shot sequence and he does not seem to have any interest in toning it down. Apparently, Aditya’s relationship with Rani was the cause of his breakup with Payel Khanna, his wife of eight years.
Though the news has not been confirmed by the families of Rani Mukerji or Aditya Chopra, the media has been speculating on the impending wedding ever since Payel Khanna filed divorce papers last year. Actress Kangana Ranaut reportedly walked out of the upcoming Balaji Telefilms project Ragini MMS after she acquired cold feet on hearing that the upcoming Bollywood film is replete with explicit content. Although the reports have not been confirmed by the actress or her representatives in Bollywood, it is to be assumed that this is the reason why Kangana Ranaut said no to the project because a lot was being written on the sexual content and skin show that the lead character would have to engage in. Kangana was to play the lead role of Ragini in the forthcoming film.
The association between Kangana Ranaut and Balaji Telefilms started after their 2010 film together Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. Kangana played one of the lead roles in the film which was declared a hit. After this she was regarded as the best choice for Ragini MMS because Kangana Ranaut is not shown to shy away from intimate scenes onscreen.
However, the actress may have changed her preference of roles now that she has already made her mark in Bollywood after winning a couple of awards for her role in Fashion. Kajol also added that it is difficult task to make both of them give their final nod to a certain script as what appeals to Ajay might be turned down by her.

Priyanka Chopra: The One And Only Choice For ‘Krrish’ Sequel

Bollywood is currently under the spell of sequels and trilogies. The current trend of moviemaking in the Hindi film industry will reveal that almost every film which was popular at the box office is being brought back as a sequel for the audience. Therefore the Roshan family too is not to be left behind in the race. After tasting bitter failure with their earlier release ‘Kites’, the father – son duo of Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan will be back on the Bollywood screen with a sequel to their 2006 release ‘Krrish’.
According to reports circulating in the media, apart from Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra has also been roped to reprise her role of the journalist in the sequel to the 2006 superhit film. Contrary to earlier reports where it was said that leggy lass Piggy Chops will not be a part of the upcoming movie because of her supposed fallout with the Roshans, a source close to the Roshan family has said in a statement to the media that Priyanka Chopra was the first and only choice for the sequel to Krrish.
The plot of the sequel has not been revealed as of yet, but reports suggest that the sequel will begin from where the prequel saw its end. Therefore we can expect that while Hrithik Roshan as Krrish will still be the superhero, Priyanka Chopra will be his journalist girlfriend. Rakesh Roshan however will have to search for a new negative character for his upcoming project

Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne will be celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary on Dec’ 20 and they are planning to have some fun with the surf and sea along with their friends for the occasion. Previously, the Roshan couple decided to have the wedding anniversary party in some nightclubs in Mumbai but have decided to move to Goa now. According to reports in the media, it is the comment of Maharashtra political party the Shiv Sena regarding Shah Rukh Khan’s last release My Name Is Khan that features in the cables leaked by WikiLeaks. Several single screens in Mumbai had withdrawn from screening the Karan Johar production My Name Is Khan on the first day of release following threats by political party Shiv Sena about unleashing violence on theaters which would screen the Shah Rukh starrer. The controversy started when King Khan commented in a question to the media that the Pakistan cricket team was being misunderstood and no judgment should be passed because of the mistakes of some players. It was then that the Shiv Sena advised Shah Rukh Khan to set base in Pakistan!
Fortunately the police in Mumbai were cooperative and screening in the Mumbai theaters remained unperturbed from next day onwards. While the controversy had died down after both parties apologized to one another, WikiLeaks seems to have brought back the memories through the leaked cables.

Deepika Padukone is in pain post rehearsal

Bollywood leading lady Deepika Padukone is in extreme pain these days. No, she is not nursing a broken heart over boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor dumping her, it is her work which is causing the leggy lass a lot of pain. According to reports in the media, Deepika Padukone was in need of a physiotherapist on the sets of upcoming Bollywood film ‘Dum Maro Dum’ after her muscles refused to budge from the strain that they had to go through for a period of six days. Reports claim that it became impossible for Deepika Padukone to even stand straight on her feet after shooting for her upcoming item number was over.
The actress had reportedly mastered the moves for the remixed version of the R D Buman composed track ‘Dum Maro Dum’ for a period of three days under the guidance of choreographers Bosco and Caesar. Post rehearsal, Deepika Padukone had to film the song for another three days. And the constant pressure of dancing, the difficult moves involved in the promotional track of the upcoming film, left her muscles strained. Dips was in so much pain that only medical help could bring her back to normal conditions.
Deepika Padukone has clinched the item number over her peer Katrina Kaif and seniors Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, therefore the extra effort was required to bring out the stylish performance required for the promotional video of ‘Dum Maro Dum’. Saif has already taken the marriage vows once and is happy with two kids from his former wife Amrita Singh. An incident which took place yesterday night in Mumbai proved to the media that the Rishi Kapoor – Karan Johar spat which had started from Karan’s Koffee couch is far from over. According to reports in the media, Rishi Kapoor and his wife Neetu Kapoor walked out of an event after the name Karan Johar was mentioned in the questions which were asked to them by the media. The erstwhile star couple were guests at an event promoting the empowerment of women in India.
Media reports claim that Rishi Kapoor had requested the media from asking any personal questions and since they had chosen to ignore his requests, the actor too thought it better to walk out on them! The Rishi Kapoor – Karan Johar first started when celebrity guests Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, both linked to Rishi Kapoor’s son Ranbir Kapoor, had some very interesting things to say to the audience of ‘Koffee With Karan’ about the philandering ways of Ranbir. Daddy Kapoor is of the opinion that it was in the hands of Karan Johar to stop such comments from being aired on national television. Though Ranbir Kapoor himself admitted to the fact that he cheated on his partner in the past in yet another episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’, relationships between some Bollywood families had already started rotting by then.
Though it was reported a few days back that Karan Johar had made up with the actor by sharing with him a warm hug, Rishi Kapoor’s and Neetu Kapoor’s behavior last night clearly showed that the troubles are far from over.

Item Song Worth Rs.2.5 CR..

Anees Bazmee's next romantic comedy Ready which features Asin and macho man, Salman Khan is slated to film an item song worth a whopping amount of 2.5crores!

Although item songs by themselves are not a new tradition, and are here to stay, the movie-makers of this particular number are claiming it to herald a whole new range of item songs! Whereas in most such chartbusters, the most recent ones being Munni Badnaam Hui and Sheila Ki Jawani, Ready's item song will not focus on the dancing item girl, but on the family dancing as the theme of the song is wedding based. The marriage of course is of the two main leads which quite easily shifts most of the focus on them.

An elaborate set for this special song was put up at Film City, Goregoan. The talked about song took six days to shoot and consisted of 100 dancers excluding the two main leads and another 100 extras to fill up the space. Music composer, Pritam spent a staggering four months making the tune of the song titled Peechhe Peechhe, while producer, Bhushan Kumar has dished out the money for it all. 

Content with the progress of this number, Kumar is thinking of having another grand set made for another grand song that could play a major role in the film.

Dabaang Steals 5 Awards

010 saw one of it's biggest and most successful release in the Khan brothers' home production, and Arbaaz's personal directorial debut, Dabaang. However, the movie does not only acclaim itself as the second biggest grosser of the year but as far as cash counter collections are concerned, the paisa vasool entertainer also currently stands third in line on the all time list!

One proof of its mega success are the Big Star Entertainment Awards which took place on the 21st of December, in Mumbai. The whole case and crew associated with the movie managed to bag a whooping number of five awards! The list goes like this,

When Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were present on Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan, Kareena mentioned how Switzerland is one of her favorite holiday spots and that it's almost like "home" for her.

 

It just so happens that Saif, as a surprise for Kareena, is planning to take her out to Switzerland for a New Year bonanza.

In fact, this trip might turn out to be a special family reunion for both the stars. There are chances that Saif's parents, Tiger Pataundi and Sharmila Tagore, might present themselves to the couple so they can welcome the coming year together. Also possibly stopping by will be Kareena's mother Babita and sister Karishma Kapoor, along with her two kids Samaira and Kian. 

 

Although in Karan Johar's show the duo managed to stall the question of marriage by mentioning plans of tying the knot will come some time around in 2012, is there a chance that by taking Kareena to Switzerland, Saif is planning to pop the question earlier than planned?

 

It seems that we'll just have to wait to watch to see if the duo will in fact be tying the knot sooner than later. In the meantime, we wish the duo and great New Year in Switzerland.
