Bollywood Gossip: Bollywood’s Sizzling Actress Mugdha Godse will be seen in a bikini in her upcoming movie ‘Help’ and she is confident that the bikini scene will be delightful for the audience.
“Wearing a bikini is no more a novelty. It is over-rated now as everyone is doing it. I look the best though (laughs). I’m doing a very filmy bikini scene that has me coming out of the water and all. But it’s just a scene for me. I wasn’t alarmed by it or something because I have had the body for it since my modelling days,” Mugdha quoted infront of the reporters.
It spicen up the entire situation, Mugdha Godse also has a suggestion for her Bollywood colleagues, “If you have a body that is even a little bit out of proportion, my suggestion is to not do it.”
Rajeev Virani helmed ‘Help’ (The Movie ), which additionally stars Bobby Deol, is a supernatural horror thriller; the story of a malevolent spirit that refuses to leave the human world. Is that one more bollywood gimmick which the audience needs to watch concentrating more upon the pop-corns and the soft drinks?
The film is due in theaters on August 13. The first look and debut promos of the film were recently revealed at IIFA 2010 Awards in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Mugdha is currently filming for Will You ‘Marry Me in Dubai’ with her co-star Shreyas Talpade.

Bollywood Gossip – I may flaunt but I’m just a Desi girl

Bollywood Actress Celina Jaitley is all set to stage her grand come back with Ganesh Acharaya directed film, ‘Money Hai To Honey Hai’, after having disappeared from the scene for some time with her International project ‘Love Has No Language’.

When I meet her for this interview at her spacious, but well decorated house in the suburbs, Celina talks in length about the film, and says that it is a story of six friends, who are strugglers in their own respective fields.
“I play a fashion designer, Shruti Pandey who has graduated from NIFT and yet struggles while trying to sell a pattern of her own to export houses”, Celina quips at the outset.
The film “Money Hai To Honey Hai”, Celina Jaitley states, sets out to drive home the subtle message that today’s education system really sucks and how.
“It is a comical representation of today’s education system and stars besides me, stars like Govinda, Aftab Shivdasani, Upen Patel, Manoj Bajpai, Ravi Kishen and Hansika Motwani. Each of us has a different background as a struggler in the film”.
Yet another film with which Celina is quite excited is Subhash Ghai’s ‘Hello Darling’ in which she plays a young catholic girl called Candy Fernandes. “Candy is a little dumb when people try to talk in double language to her.
The film dwells at length about how it is wrong on the part of people in society today to judge a woman on the basis of what she is wearing. It is a chic film and I enjoyed working with Isha Koppikar and Gul Panag”, says Celina.
The actress then hastens to clarify, “Just because there are three women in Hello Darling like there were in Charlie’s Angels, it does not mean that you should jump to the conclusion that Hello Darling is a rehash of Charlie’s Angels”.
Celina states that she can identify herself with the role in Hello Darling completely.
“People feel that I am anglicized and cannot talk in Hindi when the fact is that I am from a Hindi medium school background and very good in Sanskrit and Hindi.
I may flaunt blood costumes on the screen, but am conservative at heart and a very simple and down to earth girl who is rooted to the family”.
Celina is happy that she gets to play a comic role in Golmaal Returns. “I am a young well educated girl who is doing her graduation in Microbiology.
Just as Kareena Kapoor‘s character is named Ekta Kapoor, my character is named Mira Nair, though it has got nothing to do with filmmaker Mira Nair. I have been teamed opposite Shreyas Talpade in the film.
The best thing about Shreyas and me is that we have very good timing to carry off the comedy scenes. I have been a great fan of Sridevi as far as comedy roles are concerned”, states Celina.

Celina confesses that she realized that she had a comic streak to her as an actress when she acted in ‘No Entry’ in which she had a zany comic role.
“After No Entry, I have done a spate of comedy films like Apna Sapna Money Money, Tom Dick & Harry, Money Hai To Honey Hai and now Golmaal Returns”
After Apna Sapna Money Money and Hello Darling, Celina has been repeated in Paying Guest by Mukta Arts. “I am lucky to have been singled out by Ghaisaab for a third film in his production company.
I play a cry baby architect in ‘Paying Guest’ which by the way is being directed by Paritosh Painter. I have been a fan of Paritosh who comes up with excellent plays.
Besides the Mukta Arts, I have also been signed for a three- film contract by Kumar Mangat, Ashtavinayak and Suneel Darshan”
Celina is quite excited about her recent foray to the West with a film called ‘Love Has No Language’ directed by Ken Khan.
“I play an Indian Bengali girl brought up in New Zealand. My parents played by Kiran Kumar and Rati Agnihotri are very orthodox and want me to marry an Indian boy of their choice, whereas I am in love with a Kiwi boy.
I am kiwi by nature and hence am stuck between my family and the boy played by Ben Mitchell. with whom I am in love with. It is a modern story”
It is interesting to note that Celina was slated to act in yet another English film called ‘Quest of Shehzada’. “However because of the writer’s Strike abroad, the film has been kept on hold and the shooting is yet to start.
Though the director is yet to be finalized, Orlando Bloom is being considered as an actor”, she states as she concludes. Jyothi Venkatesh

Bollywood Gossip: Filmmaker Prakash Jha, buoyed by success of his Bollywood movie Rajneeti, is enamoured with Mahabharat. Yes.. Thats correct!! Prakash Jha seems to have rolled up his sleeves once again for his magnum opus ‘Draupadi’ which seems to be an adaption of the great Indian epic story Mahabharata.
Initially, Prakash Jha planned to cast Madhuri Dixit as the leading role for the hindi version but it didnt work. Now, he plans to do the same but in an English Version while casting the hottest Hollywood Actress Angelina Jolie in his mind.
While speaking to the news agencies a few days back, Prakash Jha commented “‘Draupadi’ is the ultimate tribute to womanhood. I’ve wanted to make it for years. Yes, Madhuri was my choice earlier. But now I’m going to make it as an international film with an international cast on a budget that would make the film a grand epic.”
“The actors have to be exotic in their features since my ‘Draupadi’ would be set in the mountains. If you’ve seen Peter Brooks’s celebrated stage adaptation of the Mahabharata it starred Mallika Sarabhai who does have exquisite features,” Prakash Jha added.

Bollywood Gossip : In a recent press conference of 9x, Rakhi Sawant was seen toting along her small little diary. No, it wasn’t her ‘black diary’ because, she seems quite happy with her beau, Abhishek, or until the couple decides to do another drama on TV, but a diary where she pens down her monthly expenses.
Now, post Nach Baliye, Season 3, Rakhi’s been crying hoarse to all who were ready to lend a ear on her disappointment with dance reality shows and how she has completely sworn off such shows. But, when a journalist at the ‘Yeh Hai Jalwa’, the reality show by 9x asked her on her part in this show, she said, “I have to survive in Mumbai.” And to prove that point, she showed every one around her little diary, which she claimed had her year’s expense. But, what was surprising was that her diary had only a few pages scribbled with numbers. The rest were empty.
Now, Rakhi‘s claim of Rs 3 lakh a month made us sit up and take notice. Not that we object to her spending that kinda money on her daily needs, but someone ought to tell Rakhi that the next time she comes to a press conference toting her little diary and claiming an obscene amount, she ought to at least scribble a few more pages with numbers lest some journo actually sit down to tally her claim that she lives in abject poverty which is the reason she grabbed 9x’s offer!

Bollywood Gossip: She’s arrives at a five-star hotel coffee shop dressed casually in a pair of skin-fitting blue jeans and a matching blouse. Her curly hair and her large, forever-searching-for-something-brown-eyes give her the quality of a child-woman. Kangana Ranaut is an interesting mix of innocence and equanimity.
Life is currently “very good” to her. Her slate is choc-o-bloc. Post the super-success of Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai for which she won accolades for her role as a yesteryear actress, it’s raining films and assorted roles in her backyard. Says Kangana, “I don’t think any other actress in Bollywood has as many films as I do.” But, hello, she is not being immodest.
In the next six months she has four films slated for the marquee. And unlike many actresses who are content to be typecast, Kangana is fortunate to have a wide array of roles to bite into. In October she’ll be in Sohail Maklai’s racy thriller Knockout with Sanjay Dutt and Irrfan Khan where she plays a journalist. Then there’s Tanu weds Manu where she plays a wannabe girl from small town Kanpur. But, of course, the high point of her career is producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Game where this 23-year-old plays an Interpol officer.
“It is by far the most difficult role I’ve attempted,” says Kangana. “It was challenging to prepare for this role of a British girl from London who is actually quite like a man in many ways,” she says. The reason why she found this role so hard to prepare for is because she had no reference point of a girl who has stayed in London and speaks with a Brit accent. Having said that, the mountain beauty drops a bomb. She confesses that she has seen precisely sexi-seven Hollywood films in her entire life, and around 25 odd Bollywood films.
“So it wasn’t as if I knew a lot about FBI agents or CIA officials,” she points out. “And officers on special duty in our Hindi cinema are very different from their foreign counterparts. Abhinay Deo, the director of Game, helped me a lot by breaking the role down for me so I could interpret it correctly.”
Kangana says Excel Entertainment (Ritesh and Farhan) were actually toying with the idea of getting a guy for this role. “However, they felt that a guy chasing a guy thing didn’t have that much of a novelty, so they changed it and I’m fortunate that they got me to do the role instead. I had to make sure that I got the body language perfect. There is nothing romantic or sensual about this Interpol officer. Yet my director didn’t want to go overboard with the stiffness and appear like too masculine. Believe me, it was a challenge. And Game is a film that I just enjoyed preparing for. It’s a never-been-seen before character as far as Bollywood goes.”
It doesn’t stop there. While her contemporaries are falling over each other trying to grab films, Kangana‘s booked way for the next year having signed on Priyadarshan’s Hindi adaptation of the Bullet Train; Indra Kumar’s comedy Double Dhamaal; David Dhawan’s Rascals; and, a film with debutant Chiraag Paswan. “Then I have been reading scripts and considering a few more projects. But now dates are an issue because I have signed on a lot of films and all are good,” she shrugs. What does one say? Get ready for a Kangana Ranaut film festival. For her the game has just begun.

Bollywood Gossip – I don’t want to be called hot says Katrina Kaif

Bollywood Gossip : Katrina Kaif’s sizzling number “Sexy lady” in ‘Race’ and now an impending item song in the sporty film ‘Blue’ have given her a sensuous image, but she’s surprisingly uncomfortable with it.

“I want to retain the image of the girl next door. I don’t want the hot image. Even in ‘Sexy lady’ I’m fully clothed. I’m still the girl next door. It’s not the conventionally sexy kind of song,” Katrina told us.
‘Race’, where she’s pitched for the sensuous sweepstakes against Bipasha Basu and Sameera Reddy, has Katrina pulling out all the stops to erase the homely image.
But she says: “I don’t think so. Everything in ‘Race’ looks larger-than-life, very fulsome, urgent and exaggerated. The actors are styled accordingly. I haven’t done anything like it. Everyone’s talking about it. I guess that’s a good sign.”
Katrina Kaif is equally reluctant to accept she’s doing the most expensive item song ever in ‘Blue’.
“I wouldn’t know about how expensive it is, but I’m doing a special appearance in ‘Blue’ and the song-dance is part of it. Yeah, I’m part of the film in a unique way. Akshay Kumar got me into it.
“As for the expenses, nowadays so many numbers are thrown into the public’s face. I don’t think it’s right for actors to talk about the financial side of a film,” said the actress who gave hits like ‘Namastey London’ and ‘Welcome’ last year.
Next, ask her about the status of her relationship with Salman Khan and she clams up. “I’d like to keep that personal.”
Is it right to presume she’s still with Salman?
“You can presume whatever you like. You can presume I’m an alien from outer space, if you like. Right now I’m in a very happy place.
“Even rumours of us actresses fighting for space in ‘Race’ is way off the mark. I’ve my own place in ‘Race’. My confidence-level has grown in recent times and, yes, it’s partly because of the hits that I’ve had.”
After a number of films where her voice was dubbed Katrina Kaif finally used her own voice in ‘Namastey London’. And now she says she has dubbed for ‘Race’.
“I’ve been working very hard on my diction. I try to speak in Hindi in my daily dealings.”
After being with Salman, who patented the name Prem in a series of films, Katrina seems stuck with another Prem, Ranbir Kapoor, who’s her co-star in Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’.
“I guess they’re worth being stuck with,” she replied tongue-in-cheek. “I just love the script, my character and Ranbir’s role. He’s so much into his work. I’m also getting there. For me acting is no longer a hobby.

Bollywood News: Six different looks, starting with one draped in the ultimate symbol of sensuality – a white satin sheet. A la Kimmy Katkar and Bollywood Actress Madhuri Dixit. Astonishingly Washboard abs and the magic of Farah Khan’s moves. Bollywood Diva Katrina Kaif couldn’t have asked for a bigger slice of the Bollywood pie.
Everyone, seriously everyone, is breathless over India’s latest item bomb. Munni featuring Bollywood’s model turned item girl Malaika Arora Khan is a passing memory. Take heart Munni, I believe they are hugely hung up still on the other side of the border. On this side though, graciously make way for Sheela/ Sheila.
Katrina Kaif worked hard and look how it’s paid off. No-nonsense Farah Khan had asked her to get in tip top shape for Tees Maar Khan. Katrina obliged and reportedly spent hours diligently at the gym getting the perfect shape. Ultimately Katrina Kaif looks way better than Kareena in her size zero avatar. In Tashan, Bebo‘s gaunt frame made more news than the scene where she appears in a bikini out of the water a la Ursula Andress or Halle Berry. Notice how many times, Bollywood is a la this or a la that. Sigh originality.
Back to Katrina in the satin sheet. She isn’t the first to drape one and rest assured she won’t be the last. I can see half a dozen actors hankering to prance about in satin sheets. From Indu Pratap’s white sari in Rajneeti to Anya’s white satin sheet, IMHO Katrina can’t get any hotter than this. Now the Question is who else can beat Katrina?

Bollywood News: Bollywood’s King Shahrukh Khan’s liplock with another male has buzzed the internet into overdrive.A snapshot of the King Khan in a liplock with another male doing the rounds of micro blogging sites too. There is speculation that the photo is taken from the Jonathan Ross show, a famed British chat show wherein the actor featured as a guest, a while ago.
Reportedly, the man smooching Shahrukh Khan on the Ross show was John Barrowman, the second guest on the show.
In keeping with his media savvy temperament, SRK was at his sparkling best in terms of wit and performed many funny and entertaining bits on the show too.
However, the smooch saga between SRK and the other male, was not telecast.
The big question, however, remains. Is that truly SRK or someone’s photoshop creativity

Chetan Bhagat’s celebrated book turns into a film…

Vishal Bhardwaj has signed Shah Rukh Khan as the male lead in the screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s 2 States. The film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The production of the film will start in the middle of next year.
Two States is one story, which was always in the pipeline for Sajid Nadiadwala; earlier it was planned that the movie will have Priyanka Chopra and Saif Ali Khan and will be directed by Siddharth Anand.
Sajid Nadiadwala has so far been perceived as belonging to the Salman Khan camp, just as Karan Johar is perceived as a producer belonging to SRK’s camp.
So does Nadiadwala’s signing of Shah Rukh for his film signal his falling out with Salman?
Well, the novel is about a boy and a girl studying in an elite MBA college. The guy is from Punjab and falls in love with the girl who belongs to Tamil Nadu. Naturally, the two have problems getting married as they belong to two extreme different cultures. It’s Chetan’s own love story; his wife Anushka is a South Indian.
A fresh new face will be introduced as the film’s leading lady.

Sonakshi Sinha uncovered.!!!

A pic showing Sonakshi Sinha in a skimpy bikini has been superimposed on the cover of a men’s magazine. The original cover has Sonakshi in one of her most sensuous photo shoots yet, but nothing like the striped bikini which caught the fancy of several media channels, including a magazine, which published an article speculating on why the demure and conservative daughter of the BJP leader chose to shed her clothes for the raunchy shoot.
An upset Sonakshi has tweeted her disapproval of the article, forcing the magazine to publish an apology, but it was too late. Sonakshi’s mother Punam Sinha blames her daughter’s detractors for the fiasco, “We’re shocked by the levels to which our detractors are willing to fall. The face is Sonakshi’s from Dabangg. But the body certainly doesn’t match. This is an attempt to belittle our family.”
She adds angrily, “Sonakshi is a young girl who can carry off anything if she wants to.
But if she doesn’t want to dress in a particular way, please understand that and leave her alone.”
Subi Samuel, who shot the young actress in a couple of revealing outfits for the magazine, says, “We shot in a studio, but the truth is she is not the kind of girl who would wear bikinis.
Sonakshi is an extremely sweet and conservative girl who holds on to certain traditional principles. I don’t think she needs to wear a bikini to seek attention, especially after being a part of the biggest hit of the year.”
Vivek Pareek, editor of the magazine said, “We work with top photographers and everyone is aware that we don’t morph our pictures except tweaking background sometimes.”
Meanwhile, other than the angry tweets, the Sinha girl has not made any comments on the issue yet.

Kats to appear on Big Boss 4…

Salman and Katrina have always made headlines about their on-off relationship. Though, now it is confirmed that the duo are no longer romantically linked yet, the ex flames will soon be sharing the stage on Colors’ reality show Bigg Boss 4.
The reigning item queen, Katrina is on the sets to promote her latest movie. She will be accompanied by director-choreographer and Salman’s latest best friend Farah Khan. So will this be a platform where the (ex) lovers make up or maintain dignified silence? Viewers will have to wait and watch!
Katrina aka Sheila will also enter the Bigg Boss house. The housemates who have no clue on what to expect will surely be shocked to see the new guests in the house. Ladies of the house being unaware of this are trying to put together the performance on two most hit song of this year, Dolly and Shweta will perform on ‘Munni Badnam Hui’ whereas Veena and Seema will shake their legs on ‘Sheila li Jawani’.
Both Katrina and Farah will enter the house to select the best dancer which the housemates are unaware of. But if Katrina is unhappy with performance, she will surely shake her belly and teach some quick moves to the housemates and with Farah in the house, the sojourn is surely going to be a laughter riot.

Sonakshi tones up for Joker…

Sonakshi Sinha has started toning up for her role in Joker in which she co-stars with Akshay Kumar.
The actress is training under Yasmin Karachiwala at her fitness centre in Bandra.
Yasmin helped Katrina Kaif get in shape for her Shiela Ki Jawani item number in Tees Maar Kha and has in the past worked with Kareena Kapoor, Imran Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Kunal Kapoor.
Sonakshi shed a lot of weight for her role in Dabangg, but remained short of being svelte. Since then she has regained some of her lost weight.

“Sonakshi has to knock off inches for Joker. Her role demands a fit and toned body. She has begun her workouts with Yasmin as preparation for the movie,” a source tells.
Akshay Kumar who is co-producing the film says it will “be one of the most technically advanced movies made in India.”
“The story moves from a village to NASA and well after that there’s some suspense involved.”
Joker is being directed by Shirish Kunder and is touted as Bollywood’s first 3D action film.

Bollywood News: Feels like Bollywood’s Christmas is getting hotter like never before.
Bollywood Director Farah Khan has made the impossible into possible. The otherwise camera shy Bollywood Actress Katrina Kaif drops her clothes and is seen draped in just a white satin sheet in the song Sheila Ki Jawani from her upcoming flick, Tees Maar Khan .
In a recent interview Farah says, “Sheila Ki Jawani was supposed to be a raunchy item Bhojpuri kind of song as Katrina’s a wannabe actress acting in sleazy films but the song shaped out to be classy and a mix between Chicago and Broadway.
I have never seen Katrina Kaif looking both hot and sensuous at the same time. In her earlier films, she’s dressed mostly like a Barbie doll.
Farah Khan added, Katrina really trusted me and didn’t argue even once when I told her what she had to wear. She just told me that she needs to start working out and tone her body more” “Her dedication is tremendous. She didn’t feel awkward with so many men around.
The more they screamed and cheered for her, the more she got a high and her energy levels increased.”
Tees Maar Khan is set to release on 24th December.
