Yess Folks!! You got that right. That isnt a Bollywood Gossip but a Bollywood News of the year. Bollywood’s reigning Diva Katrina Kaif is all set to make her onscreen smooch debut with none other than Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan.
Director Zoya Akhtar has a shot a two- minute steamy kissing scene, being touted as the longest lip lock in Bollywood so far, for her upcoming biggie Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara. Hrithik and Katrina are set to be casting opposite each other for the very first time in Zoya Akhtar’s film, though the two superstars have posed for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine in the past.
But director Zoya is reluctant to reveal details on the kiss. “I don’t want to discuss details because we are still shooting the film. All I can say is that whatever we have shot is integral to the plot. Everything has been filmed beautifully and the actors look great together on screen,” she says.
Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara, Zoya’s second film after Luck By Chance, also stars her brother Farhan Akhtar along with Dev D duo Abhay Deol and Kalki Koechlin.
A large portion of the film has been shot in Spain where the unit drew the flak of animal activists when the three male actors shot a bull- running sequence.
According to reports, Katrina Kaif is also said to have done some daredevil bike stunts in the film.
Hrithik & Katrina set for one hell of a long kiss While this will be Katrina’s maiden on-screen kiss, Hrithik has mastered the smooching art.
He shared his first onscreen kiss with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the 2006 blockbuster Dhoom 2 and smooched Mexican beauty Barbara Mori in his dud home production Kites earlier this year.
If Hrithik and Aishwarya were quite uncomfortable while doing the kissing scene for Dhoom 2, Katrina‘s condition was no different when she was informed about the kissing scene by the director.
Says a source close to Katrina: “Initially, she was hesitant to doing the kissing scene with Hrithik. She wasn’t very enthusiastic about the idea. However, the director managed to convince her in the end.” Sources on the set of the film claim that despite her initial reluctance Katrina seemed quite comfortable kissing Hrithik when the scene was shot. The actress was very professional and co- operative all along, they add.
The kissing sequence happens at an important moment in the film where Hrithik Roshan‘s character looks into the eyes of the heroine and bids her goodbye without saying a word.
It is only then that the girl realises how much she loves him and runs up to him to seal her affection with a lip lock. So far, the longest kiss on- screen was shared by Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor in Raja Hindustani. It lasted for about a minute.
Whether Katrina manages to strike chemistry with Hrithik in Zoya’s film remains to be seen. One thing is sure, though – they will set a new record for Hindi films when it comes to puckering up.

Recently, Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan hugged and patched up; even Kareena has ended her cold war with Aishwarya. All of this happened at Karan Johar’s birthday party last year. Karan has taken his role as Bollywood Peacemaker to the next level. Last week, Karan played a catalyst, making Shahid and Kareena not only acknowledge each other’s presence, but also strike up a conversation. The patch up took place at Shahrukh’s bungalow, Mannat, where King Khan had his celebration of My Name Is Khan.

A source said, “Shahid and Kareena came face to face, everyone thought they would simply ignore each other like they have done so many times in the past. But this time, Karan happened to be present right there and instead of marching past each other they slowed down for a bit. And the rest, as they say, is history.” They both had a warm exchange and even Saif joined them later. Kareena and Shahid were both unavailable for comments. Kareena’s spokesperson said, “Kareena has no problem with anybody, including Shahid.”

A close source revealed, “Vishal wants each actor to look different from the other. So far, he has finalized Mohanlal, Naseeruddin Shah, John Abraham and Arshad Warsi. As is evident from the casting till now, each actor has a distinctive look from skin color, body structure, height, and personality. The script of the film is unconventional.”
The source also said, “Irrfan Khan might be signed to play the fifth husband. During his recent visit to the US, Vishal had zeroed in on a foreigner, who will play one of Priyanka’s husbands.” Vishal Bradwaj wrote Ek Bataa Saath. Vishal liked Ruskin Bond’s Susanna’s Seven Husbands, which the writer developed into his film script.

Shammi will be returning to the sliver screen to make a guest appearance in the movie of his grandnephew Ranbir. Imtiaz is making his next movie Rockstar along with Ranbir Kapoor.

A close source revealed, “It was not easy to get Shammiji to agree with a role in the movie. Due to his medical conditions, he undergoes dialysis thrice a week. However, Imtiaz has made all arrangements so that the veteran star is able to shoot comfortably. The schedule with Shammiji will take seven days to film. Since he is not in a condition to shoot at a stretch, Imitiaz has decided to shoot his scenes in bits and parts. So, Shammiji will take a break after every day of shooting.”

Shammi Kapoor was very surprised when asked about this role. He said politely, “My dear, nothing has been finalized yet. We are working out the possibilities, given my circumstances.” Shammi was certainly very excited about working with Ranbir Kapoor and said, “I would love to do this role if I was healthy. Ranbir is a superb actor, wonderful dancer, talented and handsome. I am proud to be his grand uncle.”

Aishwarya always dances like a dream: Slumdog choreographer

The famous Indian choreographer Longinus Fernandes made all the actors in Slumdog Millionaire dance to his tunes and he has directed a sequence in Hollywood movie, Eat, Pray, Love. Out of all this, it was our very own Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan bowl him over, with her ‘dream’ like dance moves.

He has choreographed one song in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s, Guzaarish, Udi Udi. When asked about this song, Longinus said, “It is very unusual. We have never seen Aishwarya doing such steps. It is very different from what she has done in the past and she has done a brilliant job with it. She is a wonderful dancer and she dances like a dream. It did not take her much time to learn the dance, but it did take some time to perfect the dance and to get in the mood of the character.”

The song is turning into a rage especially due to Aishwarya’s graceful and impressive moves in her red and black long dress. The dance director said, “Sanjay wanted to make this song unique and different one. I asked him if we can add a little bit of Spanish in it and give it a raw, earthy feel. He loved the idea, so we gave the whole dance a look, which is very rustic, so we tried to make it as natural as we can.”

Longinus has won the Filmfare Award for this famous choreography for the song ‘Pappu can’t dance saala…’in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Bhansali and Longinus met for the first time on the sets of a dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.

When asked Longinus how he got a film with Sanjay he said, “It was not very tough for me to get this break with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He has always been fond of me. He was one of the judges on Jhalak and he told me that time that he will work with me for sure. He kept his promise.”

They have acted together and she was like a permanent fixture at his place, but she always maintained that they were good friends. However, on Tuesday she finally admitted in a daily that she has split with the Dabangg actor.

An industry source revealed, “On Monday, an article in a morninger carried quotes from a very old interview of Kat, in which she had spoken about her closeness with Salman. This did upset the actress, who is trying very hard to maintain a professional relation with her ex.”

The actress made a few calls to her higher-ups in the industry and said that she wanted to clear the air about Salman. The following day she gave an interview where she admitted of her split with Salman and it was flashed on the front page of the tabloid under the title: For the first time.

So, now the question comes: Why did Katrina finally come clean about Salman? An insider says, “That interview made matters embarrassing for her. She is dating Ranbir now, and the Kapoor Khandaan have welcomed her into their fold. How would she explain an interview about Salman being a ‘4 am friend’?”

Her confession about her break-up was a face-saving attempt.

A close source to the actress added, “When Kat read an article about Salman and her closeness, she was very upset. She does not want to send out the wrong signals to Ranbir or his family. She is not with Sallu anymore. Though Salman and Kat broke up long ago, they continue to be friends. She appreciates all that he has done for her, and they will always be there for one another. After the latest being human show he even asked her to party with his friends, but she denied it as she had an early morning flight. Lately, there has been a lot of stress on the sets of Tezzz in London. Last week, the shoots were suddenly called off due to rains. Ajay Devgan knew about this, but Kangana was not informed about this until later and she was very livid. The actress got her manager to fire the production in-charge, and make a fuss of her not being informed sooner.

According to a source, “The following day, Kangs and Ajay were to shoot at Birmingham, but she reported late on the set, to make a point. She made the entire cast and crew wait for her.” However, the spokesperson of the actress denied of any such event. She said, “Kangana is one of the most professional actresses going around and only under extenuating circumstances she would come later. If it was raining and shooting got cancelled why will she have problems and throw tantrums? She was happy to go shopping, like she does after every pack-up.”

The spokesperson added further that she was late, because there was no water in her hotel room. “She was late just one day because there was no water in the hotel. Finally she left for the shoot without having a bath as she did not want the cast and crew to wait for her. Some person on the sets is out to malign her and are planting stories about her.”

According to the producer’s version, “We have been shooting since the last 12 days and lost a couple of hours in the evening due to rain. But Kangana was not needed for those scenes. On the next day, Kangana was late, because she had to be dressed as bride and getting the make-up and saree on took a lot of time. Kangana has been very cooperative on the sets and we are happy to be working with her.”

Recently, Deepika convinced her entire team of Break Ke Baad to hit the road after bad weather prevented them from flying to Delhi. Imran Khan, Deepika, Kunal Kohli and the director Danish Aslam were scheduled for a visit in IIT, Delhi for a promotional event for the film. The team was supposed to meet at the Chandigarh airport and take a flight to Delhi. However, there was an unexpected snow blizzard in Rohtang, which forced them to go for an eight hour long road trip.

When asked Kunal Kohli about this he says, “It was the biggest adventure of our lives. We could not have imagined that a snowstorm in Kashmir would affect the weather in Chandigarh. After out flights were cancelled, Deepika suggested that we should hit the road. She was very interested to make it to Delhi under any circumstance. Since she came to know that the students were looking forward to meeting them, there was no way she was willing to cancel. Imran decided to travel as well from Patiala, where he was shooting.”

He added, “We all were hungry, but Deepika was really worried about getting mobbed. Therefore, we looked for a relatively empty place and she covered her face with dupatta and then got out of the car. We managed to eat chana bhatura, but word got out that she was in the dhaba and people soon started crowding. We managed to get out of there before it got too crowded.”

When Deepika was asked about her first-ever road trip, she said, “While Danish and Kunal were taking care of the logistics and making sure that we got to Delhi on time, I was busy enjoying the adventure. I think stopping at the local dhaba and eating food was really memorable. Among all the traveling I have done, this particular trip will go down as something really special.”

Actress-turned-businesswomen Shilpa Shetty, who is currently distressed with the termination of her IPL team Rajasthan Royals, says that she wants a balanced and fair hearing over this entire matter.

Recently, Shilpa wrote on microblogging site Twitter, “It has been a very distressing time for us all at RR after all we have put in (passion n time).” When asked her on her views for terminating her team she said, “All we ask for is a fair and balanced hearing on all the issues raised, given the adverse national and international impact on the Brand IPL in the interest of the teams and fans. The most important thing is the transparent process and enquiry…allegation that our ownership has been changed since 2008. That is so untrue.”

She added saying, “The only change that has come in the ownership is the introduction of my husband Raj Kundra, for which we had full BCCI permission and support at that time.”

The governing council of IPL terminated the contracts of Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab for violating their franchise pact. Shilpa and Raj own the team Rajasthan Royals, while Preity Zinta owns the Kings XI Punjab. Shilpa said that she was too shocked to react.

She tweeted meanwhile saying, “This is for all those who want my reaction, ‘Honestly too shocked to react, just disheartened….cause it is more than just a team for us! Still haven’t received the termination, will react after that. Need to know the basis of this decision, in London now.”

Celina’s not so good experience at Kolkata airport!

According to Celina Jaitley, some jawans took her case in a very cheap manner.
She was at the Kolkata airport and there were the Central Industrial Security Force (CIFS) jawans doing their ordered service. But according to Celina one of the jawans tried to misbehave with her.
She was carrying a costly branded bag and had asked for a tray to the airport authorities as she does it everywhere else in India and is quite used to it. So that she could get her bag pass through all the customs and intense security checks.
After sometime that she placed her bag on the tray, a jawan picked it up and banged it on the conveyor belt. This apparently damaged her bag That damaged the skin of the bag (which was rather too costly approximately worth Rs.1.25 lac).
According to the beautiful brunette actor, this wasn’t the end of it all. After this she tried to speak to the jawans regarding the event and spoke in Bengali with him, but the arrogant jawan carried on his behavior and supposedly told her not to talk in Bengali and said “Madam, yahan Bengali nahin chalti!”
A disgusted looking Celina was certainly very annoyed with this and was very upset about the whole incident. “Are we not allowed to speak in a language that we are comfortable in? Is every person supposed to speak in English?” is what she asked the authorities.
Troubled by this, she instantly logged a complaint about the entire incident to the management. But, four or five guys amongst the jawans ganged up on her and again started misbehaving and ridiculing her for having carried such a costly bag.

Though her friends understand her very well that Rani needs her space right now, but they all are concerned about her and her reclusive behavior. They sincerely hope that this is just a temporary phase and Rani is not joining the ranks of some of the senior actresses like Tabu and Rekha who spend more time behind their locked doors than required.

Liz Hurley has apparently dumped Shane Warne after learning that the cricketer had sent sexual text messages to a married Australian woman .

An Australian man, Denis Angeleri, claims his wife, Adele, was wooed by Warne with a series of explicit texts, according to the News Of The World and The Sunday Mirror.

The pair had met when Warne called into her leather goods shop opposite his office at the Shane Warne Foundation in Melbourne.

According to the paper, they exchanged numbers and Warne began texting her, becoming progressively more suggestive. Adele grew worried and eventually told her husband, Denis, on December 3.

Warne had begged him to keep the matter secret for the sake of his family, however, Warne was "also clearly terrified Liz would discover his double-dealing".

"There weren''t that many texts anyway," The News Of The World quoted Warne as telling Angeleri.

But the paper said Warne sent her more than 100 messages, while simultaneously cultivating his relationship with Hurley.

According to the paper, it was only a few days after his confrontation with Angeleri that Warne met up with Hurley in London.

Warne, now in Perth commentating on the Third Ashes Test for Channel Nine, hit social networking site Twitter to lament the latest saga.

"The journey of life is about riding the ups/downs," the Daily Telegraph quoted him as Tweeting.

"We all are childish, immature at times. It''s about how you bounce back when things are tough."

On Friday night he tweeted: "4.45am here in Perth. Not really a wink of sleep. Tossed and turned all night, feeling extremely grumpy."

Hurley also wrote on Twitter to shut down reports she would spend time with Warne in Australia in the coming weeks.

And, in a further blow to Warne, she said she had no plans to divorce her estranged husband, Indian textile heir Arun Nayar any time soon.

"Bored now of silly speculations: no one is divorcing anyone yet, no one is fighting over money and I have no plans to go to Australia. Enough!" she wrote

Sohail Khan's 40th birthday was a huge fanfare of sorts as the who's who of the industry all landed up for the bash at a posh Juhu lounge.

Sohail's brother Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan might be fighting but it did not stop Sohail from inviting the Khans of Mannat and Gauri turned up looking ravishing in her ensemble.

Salman is again having a cold war of sorts with Hrithik Roshan after Sallu's attack on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film with Hrithik that bombed badly but Duggu and his wife Sussanne too came to wish Sohail well.

Genelia D'Souza was the eye candy of the night and Arjun Rampal and wife Mehr cerainly the most well dressed couple. Suniel Shetty brought his maverick style sense along.

Chunky Pandey and wife Bhavna, Goldie Behl and Sonali Bendre, Sonakshi Sinha (she is looking hot and slim!!), Priyanka Chopra, Yuvraj Singh fresh from his exploits against New Zealand and boxer Vijender Singh, Parmeshwar Godrej and Gautam Singhania and many others attended the bash.

Sanjay Dutt was in one of his best moods ever as he danced and posed for the shutterbugs.

Now for some goss of the town... It's well-known that Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are going to celebrate New Year's in Singapore. However, some sources inform us that Saif's parents are going to join the handsome couple and bring the New Year in.

We also learn that while Sharmila Tagore and Pataudi may be a part of Saif-Bebo's New Year celebration, Kareena's mum, Babita, and sister Karisma Kapoor (along with her kids) are planning to join them all in Singapore, too.

If this is true, then there'll be some serious bonding between the Khans and the Kapoors. And they may just get down to discussing some more serious stuff...something on the lines of band, baaja, baarat maybe?

Telugu star, IlIeana D'Cruz has finally landed the role of the second heroine opposite young brigade's heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, in Anurag Basu's next, Barfee. Illeana D'Cruz was last seen in blockbusters such as Pokiri and Kick.  

It has been revealed that the original actress considered for the role was southern starlet, Asin. But as often happens, Asin demanded too high a fee which left Anurag looking for other options. The search next lead him to Deepika Padukone but obviously the tall beauty had problems with the main lead!

Anurag, who stumbled upon this choice courtesy Illeana's photographs, showed Ranbir the pictures of the actress as well and ,the young Kapoor it is heard, gave a green immediately. Apparently, he actually approved of her believing her to have the same grace as ex-girlfriend, Deepika. 

A few days later, Anurag met with Illeana and her mother to finalize the deal after informing them that the other female character was being portrayed by Priyanka Chopra.

With Ranbir set to play a mute character, and Priyanka a women who often succumbs to fits of incoherence, it was essential for Illeana to speak fluent Hindi. Hence why Anurag has planned a set of strict voice and diction training for the actress before commencing shooting.

A Bollywood platform for yet another southern actress, and on what a grand scale! Here's wishing Illeana the same success as her select predecessors!

Sonam Kapoor is going to be seen in her own action film pretty soon, and it's none other than the upcoming Players. Players is the remake of The Italian Job and is going to be directed by the talented duo of Abbas-Mastan. However, the action sequences are to be directed by Allan Amin. But this time around, it's not just going to be the men (Abhisheik Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh) of the film who do action stunts, the women (Sonam Kappor and Bipasha Basu) are getting their chance to show off their skills too.

This is going to be the first time that Sonam will actually be doing an action film, hence why she has been training non-stop, so that she can live up to expectations. For the past few months, Sonam has been training in pilates with Yasmin Karachiwala.

 

Bipasha is known for her fit physique and athleticism, and Sonam doesn't want to lag behind when it comes to performing the stunts. In the film, the women will actually be seen chasing cars and many other stunts.

 

Along with just Bollywood stars, the directors have managed to cast Vyacheslav Razbegaev, a famous Russian actor, for an important role. In the film, he'll be seen as a Russian general. Vyacheslav will begin his shooting sometime around February of next year. But while that is still far off, he's decided to join the cast in Goa currently to try and blend in.

Here's wishing that this action flick kicks off to a good start!
