Charlie’s Angel Jaclyn Smith Reaches 25 Year Milestone In Style

Although she may not have a swish studio in the arty world of the famous designers such as Stella McCartney, Ralph Lauren and Alexander McQueen,  in New York’s Meat Packing district, Jaclyn Smith has managed to reach a quarter of a century milestone as a designer for Kmart.

The beautiful former Charlie’s Angels star has made a career of brining a style line of fashionable and affordable clothes to women throughout the USA and as the one of the first celebrity designers Jaclyn has always been there to help design the styles for her label rather than just lending her name to other people’s designs.

Amy Dimond tells StyleList, “She updates her collection each season by working with the over 200 designers in Soho. “If you look at her white shirt, she does one each season you can follow the trends over 25 years through her white shirt design.”

The 62 year old has realized that the white shirt, black trousers, a classic pullover sweater, a charmeuse blouse, knit separates, the sheath dress, the trench coat and leather are the basics of any woman’s wardrobe and every year she comes up with a new variation on the garments
