Kitsch’s Tribute to Alexander McQueen


Alexander McQueen’s untimely death shook the fashion world earlier this year and as a tribute to the British Designer, Kitsch held a fashion show and an after-party in his honour.

Priya and Charu Sachdev hosted the Kitsch Spring Summer 2011 fashion show at the capital’s Garden of Five Senses with five global brands. The mutli-designer store houses the late designer’s collection and will also include the Spring Summer 2011 under the creative direction of Sarah Burton who took after McQueen’s demise. “With the launch of his collection, we thought this to be the most appropriate time to pay him homage,” explained Charu Sachdev, Founder of Kitsch and CEO, TSG International Marketing Pvt Ltd.

The two entrepreneurial sisters welcomed Amol Vadhera,  Amit & Divya Burman, Peter Punj, Tanisha Mohan, Mohit Burman, Niyamat Bakshi, Ayesha Thapar to name a few at the show and after party.
