I am in Bangkok right now, visiting a new jewellery manufacturer. This is my last and my favourite business trip of the year.
Despite the eleven or thirteen hour flight, it is always a pleasure to come here: always hot (which I love), amazing food, great hotels, restaurants and bars, as well as massage any time of the day or night! People work hard (six days week anyone?) but they do look happy. Their attention to detail is outstanding and their gentleness is also visible through their work. This is not China - it reminds me more of Italy or France.
And the way they put those Christmas lights together is just - sweet!
