IT'S a first - Vogue is opening its channels to invite VOGUE.COM users to interview the exuberant Dolce and Gabbana. We are inviting you to submit the questions you would really like to ask the influential duo, Stefano and Domenico, who are celebrating some 25 years in the fashion business.
They first met in a Milanese nightclub in the Eighties and have come to influence the world of glamour through their many celebrity collaborations and the sheer bravado of their collections. Imagine for a moment the fashion world without bra tops, brocade, corseted siren dresses and lace? Their vision has always been a sexually empowered and self-possessed vision of woman as they hip hop their way through all manner of references from Visconti heroines to Sicilian beauties and glamorous divas.
Dolce & Gabbana have also pioneered on the digital front with live-streamed shows, an expansive website and a blogging site, SWIDE.COM, where we will also be asking Dolce & Gabbana's social network to take part in the interview all making this online question time a perfect fit.
