Updated Wednesday January 5, 2011, 16:30am: Clarence House has announced the details of the royal wedding day. Kate will arrive at Westminster Abbey in a car, rather than a horse-drawn coach as is usual in royal weddings. Following the ceremony, a fleet of horse-drawn carriages will transport the couple and the rest of the royal family past the assembled crowds to Buckingham Palace, via Parliament Square, Whitehall and The Mall. Rather than the usual sit-down wedding breakfast, guests will be offered canapés and Champagne whilst the royal couple have their official pictures taken. Guests will leave early in the afternoon, but at 7pm the couple will welcome guests for a private dinner - hosted by Prince Charles - followed by dancing. They will then spend their first night as man and wife at one of the royal residences, and will depart for honeymoon the following day to an undisclosed location.
